Deli&Bar ONE LOVE

Tucked away in a quiet street off Kokusai-dori Avenue in Nishi-Asakusa, Deli&Bar ONE LOVE is a casual eatery offering house-made charcuterie, Italian dishes, and international specialties. The owner, Toru, is a former backpacker who traveled to around 50 countries over a ten-year period. Inspired by the hospitality he experienced on the road, he opened the bar in Asakusa as a space to connect people. The shop takes its name from the famous Bob Marley song.

A signature item is "Uncle Paul's Jerk Chicken," based on a recipe learned from a Jamaican resident in New York. Marinated with more than ten types of spices and herbs, the chicken is seared on a skillet before being finished in the oven with residual heat, creating a crispy skin and juicy interior. The lunch plate also features home-made ham cured over two weeks using selected pork, along with falafel—deep-fried chickpea patties inspired by the owner's extended stay in Egypt.

Designed by his wife around the concept of an escape from the everyday, the interior hosts a mix of neighborhood regulars and international travelers staying nearby. The restaurant is known for its flexible hospitality, accommodated dietary requests, including vegetarian options and custom meal preparations.
