Bouillon Ca va

Bouillon Ca va

A French restaurant located in the "Kannon-ura" area north of Senso-ji Temple, about a 15-minute walk from Asakusa Station on the Tobu Skytree Line and Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. First established in Takasaki in 1989 before relocating to Asakusa in 2005, this house-style establishment is run by Chef Watanabe, who trained in France in his youth and continues to visit the country once a year.

The restaurant's defining charm lies in its robust dishes, which faithfully recreate the authentic flavors of everyday French bistros and home cooking without any unnecessary creative twists.

The appetizer menu features wine-friendly classics such as "French Onion Soup," "Duck Gizzard Salad," "Burgundy-style Escargots," and "Roasted Camembert with Honey". For the main course, satisfying and substantial regional meat dishes take center stage, with options including "Coq au Vin" (chicken braised in red wine), "Beef Braised in Red Wine," and "Roasted Rack of Lamb". Culminating in the chef's specialty homemade "Savarin" cake for dessert, the establishment offers a true-to-life experience of everyday French dining crafted with master-level expertise.
