Yoshoku Mifune

Yoshoku Mifune

Located in Oku-Asakusa near the Asakusa Police Station—north of Senso-ji Temple—Yoshoku Mifune is a neighborhood diner established in 1952 (Showa 27), long appreciated by locals for its honest, scratch-made cooking.

The kitchen operates on a strict philosophy of never compromising on ingredients: finely textured Joshu Mochi Pork, juicy and clean-flavored Shingen Chicken, and clean-tasting Angus beef, all served at very reasonable downtown prices.

The menu features dishes such as hamburger steaks dressed in a heritage demiglace infused with ox tongue broth, beef tongue stew, beef stew, sautéed pork, tonkatsu cutlets, chicken sauté, and a traditional curry simmered over three days. Run by the tall-toqued master and gracious hostess, it is an inviting and dependable dining stop in the Kannoura district.
