Nestled near the intersection of Asakusa-dori and Kokusai-dori in Kotobuki, Taito-ku, Denkiya Hall Kotobuki is a tonkatsu restaurant cherished by locals for its welcoming hospitality and reasonable prices. The unique name "Denkiya Hall" traces its roots back to 1903, when its parent establishment originally opened in Asakusa as an electrical repair shop before later transitioning into a café in the Senzoku-dori area. Established as a family offshoot of that heritage, this location offers table seating in a relaxed interior.
The food menu features set meals such as pork loin cutlet (Rosu-katsu), pork fillet cutlet (Hire-katsu), chicken cutlet, fried horse mackerel, and fried oysters, prepared using hand-trimmed domestic pork cooked to order. Tables are equipped with two types of house-made sauces: sweet and spicy. For takeout, the restaurant offers a popular cutlet sandwich (Katsu-sando) made with bread from Pelican, a long-established bakery in Asakusa.
The drink selection includes beer and various beverages, which can also be paired with side dishes.
