Attrayant

Attrayant

Located directly across from Asakusa ROX along the Kokusai-dori Avenue area, Attrayant is a welcoming Western-style bistro opened in 1997 by a chef who honed his craft at various restaurants.

Taking its name from the French word for "attractive" or "charming," the restaurant strives to offer comforting hospitality in an unpretentious, family-like atmosphere. The kitchen’s signature is its jet-black demiglace sauce, slow-simmered over two full weeks—a craft featured on television for its exceptional depth and subtle, pleasing bitterness that elevates roasted and braised meats. Depending on the dish, guests can also compare this signature bitter "Black" demiglace with the milder "Red" version.

With casual lunch sets by day and a nighttime selection ranging from à la carte options to slightly elevated course menus, it is a dependable spot to enjoy authentic European comfort cooking in Asakusa.
